About our contributions to the project
After Media4Change team was contacted by the coordinators of the EOOH project, two members: Media monitoring specialist Banguolė Žalnieriūnaitė and one of the Media4Change volunteers: Justas Juodženis were working for months on creating a lexicon of hate speech in Lithuanian language. Together they annotated more than 6000 words frequently used in hate speech. Currently, Media4Change media monitoring specialist has a role of an expert in this project and has access to the EOOH dashboard to research tendencies of hate speech.
